MORE ABOUT ME

Su Nay is a student in Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts, and will be completing her Bachelor's degree in 2024.

 

Her works range from traditional paintings and drawings to digital illustrations. With a focus on fantastical creatures with a story element, shown either through single illustrations or short comics. She also draws inspiration from her favorite novels and media, creating art based around them. She strives to bring the imagined image to life, recreating it based her selected media while retaining that flash of inspiration. She seeks to preserve this from her sketches to her final drawings, despite any changes that have occurred. Her goal is to create art that is with a story behind its image that anyone is able to understand and enjoy, either for a brief moment or longer afterwards.

 

She has participated in several school art events and competitions. She was commissioned to paint a mural painting for Edelweiss Singapore Preschool Myanmar Branch in 2018, and has completed several mural paintings for MoCa Green in 2021 and 2023. Su Nay intends to be an illustrative storyteller, further pursuing her passion for the fantastical narratives and designing creatures.
